If you are an owner of a classic Fujitsu PC, FM TOWNS, and if you are trying to put your hard-disk emulator such as SCSI2SD internal, WAAAAAAIT!!!
Do you have an adapter to be inserted between your SCSI2SD and FM TOWNS' internal SCSI connector? Aren't you trying to directly connect your SCSI2SD to the internal SCSI connector because it is a rectangular 50-pin connector just like a standard SCSI connector?
DON'T DIRECTLY CONNECT YOUR SCSI DEVICE TO THIS CONNECTOR!! MOST LIKELY YOU FRY YOUR DEVICE OR FM TOWNS OR BOTH!!
You need to insert an adapter between the FM TOWNS' internal SCSI connector and the SCSI device.
Thankfully http://labo.main.jp/newage/towns/fmt_fileslot.html here you can find the connections of the adapter. Well, but I wanted to independently confirm the connections. Then someone posted an internal MO drive on Yahoo! Auction with buyout price of $99. I took it.
Actually I have two MO disks, one of which is presumably a backup of my system drive when I was using FM TOWNS 2MX as my main computer. I have a high hope that Phar Lap 386 Assembler and Debugger are backed up in this MO disk. Therefore I also was looking for a MO drive. This kills two of my problems, that was what I hoped, but the MO drive turned out to be up to 230MB. It solved only one problem.
That's fine. At least I had a real internal SCSI adapter for FM TOWNS to test.

If you want to mount a SCSI2SD, the easiest thing is to fix your SCSI2SD on a plastic board with cable ties, and then plastic board on the 3.5-inch mounter with cable ties. No screw needed. FYI, here's the dimension and hole locations for the plate I used. By the way, holes with X mark are the ones I poked by mistake. You won't need those holes with X.
And, it is how cable ties fix the SCSI2SD and the board.
And successfully booted. Power is supplied from the terminator power. I didn't have to connect the 4-pin power cable.
