I could not fly as much as I wanted in the last year. My logbook tells I flew only 35.6 hours. I flew a lot in 2023, 53.6 hours. I feel that we had too many windy days and I had to cancel or didn't even bother making a reservation based on the forecast. Still 35.6 hours were more than I flew when I was renting from a flight school. It is much easier to reserve an airplane from the flying club.
I should fly more. So I tried last Friday. I drove up to the airport. But, turned out the ramp area was snow covered. I tried to pull out my airplane, but it was too slippery. I gave up. I should have worn a snow trekking boots, but it was too late. I'll try again this Friday night.
