The deluxe version of Concorde screensaver.  It is built on YSFLIGHT kernel, and the airplanes fly according to a simplified aerodynamics simulation rather than following a geometrically pre-defined path.

It shows not only Concorde, but also formation with Red Arrows and Spitfires.

Other screensavers based on YSFLIGHT kernel include executables of OpenGL version and Non-OpenGL version.  But, this package only includes OpenGL version.  If your PC environment cannot draw OpenGL fast, please use Concorde screensaver.

This version takes advantage of the upgrade of the YSFLIGHT kernel, and can draw ground textures.  Also, Direct 3D version is available.  If, the OpenGL version does not work due to the driver problem, you can try Direct 3D version.  Some video chip manufacturers are irresponsible and do not provide a stable OpenGL driver, but in many cases, they provide at least a stable Direct 3D driver.  And, in addition to Spitfire and Red Arrows, it now can show a formation with Hawker Hurricane and Avro Lancaster.

Actually, since 2004/12/10 version, it uses YSFLIGHT kernel, and you can choose an airplane from the list of the airplanes available in YSFLIGHT.  (To choose airplanes, you need to register.)

Version up is free.  If you already registered for this program you can use the same registration key.

This program is a screensaver program that shows airplane landings.  It uses the flight simulation kernel of YSFLIGHT, and shows realistic (like floating in the air type of) motions of airplanes.  You can choose airplanes from more than 50 airplanes, environment from DAY/NIGHT/AUTOMATIC/RANDOM, sceneries from 6 different sceneries.  Three types of landings are available, normal landing, formation landing and aircraft-carrier landing.

You can create your own scenery with this program, and fly above it with YSFLIGHT.  With YSFLIGHT Scenery Editor, you can draw a map on the ground, make hills and mountains, create the region that the aircrafts can land, set up motion path, and put ground objects.  You can export a recurring scenery part, like an airport, to a file and later use the part when you make a new scenery.

This program is shareware, and the price is $15.  If you use this program without registering, the program will show a shareware message when you start the program.  However, there is no other functionality limitation.  I suppose that many of YSFLIGHT users are students and do not have own income.  If you do not have your own income right now but want to use this program, I do not blame you for using this program without paying.  Please pay $15 when you have your own income :-)
